10 Minutes to Everything You Would Ever Want

What do you really – really Want?

Face the truth – you don’t know!

Take ten minutes right now to find out.

I mean like – right now!

If you are at work, or a wedding, or whatever and can’t take a break…take a break anyway and go to the rest room.

It’s that important to do this right now!

Here we go: What if money were no object?

How would you enjoy spending your life?

If money were no object, money was no longer you’re dominant thought…

…what would you be doing?

One thing is for sure – you would no longer be wasting your time chasing money.

You won’t be doing the things that you don’t want to do to make a living.

If you could do what you really would like to do, what would that be?

Stop. Breath deeply – in through your nose and out through you mouth.

Be calm.

Think…or even better – Don’t think…dream.

What would you be doing right now instead of hiding in the restroom?

This is the question that people never get around to answering – their entire life.

It really is so important to consider this question: “What do I desire?”

And you still have several minutes left of the ten minutes I asked you for.

It doesn’t matter what it is that you desire. You can become a master at doing it.

In Malcom Gladwell’s book ‘Outliers’, he suggests that once you have done something for over 10,000 hours, you have mastered it.

Basically, once you’re a master of whatever it is you want to do – people will be willing to pay you for instruction on how to do the same. They won’t want to spend the 10,000 hours for the education – they will pay you to teach them. Maybe in a book, maybe in a podcast, maybe in person – one-on-one or in a crowded audience.

Let’s use an example:

To have all the money to do anything, to travel anywhere continually, eat, drink, and enjoy life in any manner you desire, and to pay for it will only take four hours per week of work would sound great – wouldn’t it? Well somebody has already done that one – Tim Ferriss did just that lifestyle about thirteen years ago and wrote about it. Today his net worth is estimated at over $100 MILLION dollars and growing!

If you don’t take the next couple of minutes to define what you would really like to be doing, 20 or 30 years from now you will wish you did. You can always re-define it or re-adjust; AND YOU MUST make a statement to yourself right now!
